• Association for Community Living
  An umbrella advocacy organization in New York State focusing on housing and rehabilitation servicesANd . They have built model apartments with programs delivering community based services.
• National Coalition for the Homeless
  The intersection of mental illness with homelessness has been demonstrated. This organization campaigns for issues promoting justice in housing, economic, health care and civil rights. They have a speakers bureau and position papers with reports that can be downloaded from their web site.
• The New York State Campaign for Mental Health Housing
  This is is a statewide coalition of mental health providers, consumers, family members, housing developers, social policy experts, legal rights organizations and concerned citizens dedicated to ensuring that people of all ages living with mental illness in New York State have access to safe, affordable housing and the opportunity for an active life in the community.
