“Once the medical team knows a patient has [a] psychiatric problem, they give them poorer quality of care,” says Britain’s Dr. Alex Mitchell.  Mitchell, and collaborator Dr. Darren Malone, reviewed 37 studies of the screening and treatment of people with and without a mental illness  at the annual meeting of the The Royal College Of  Psychiatrists.
